QUBE-Servo 2 for Academic Teaching and Research
18 June, 2020 @ 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm EEST
Since it’s release in 2013, the QUBE-Servo platform became a popular tool for exploring controls and mechatronics concepts in academic teaching and research labs around the world. Now, eight years down the road, we released a major update of the QUBE-Servo’s curriculum, more than doubling the original 14 lab exercises. At the same time, a virtual QUBE-Servo is now available as a part of the QLabs Controls platform, providing credible, high-fidelity lab experiences to students off-campus.
In this webinar, Mahyar Fotoohi, Regional Business Development Manager at Quanser, and Michel Levis, Quanser R&D Engineer, will highlight capabilities of the QUBE-Servo 2 platform, the comprehensive curriculum it comes with, and how input from academia helped enhance and extend curriculum topics. They will demonstrate QLabs Controls and show you how you can integrate the physical and virtual hardware for more engaging and interactive online or in-class courses. They will also provide examples of research applications using QUBE-Servo 2, from controls to IoT, machine learning, and more.
